Born in Chicago, Illinois, Christopher Duran is a multidisciplinary artist. He obtained a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from the American Academy of Art. Prior to attending the American Academy of Art, Duran began to develop his art at ASM a non-profit organization that provides Chicago high school teens with after-school and summer opportunities. Working under the mentorship of Artists Ricardo Gonzalez and Erick Garcia’s mural program. Duran has had group exhibitions at the Chicago Cultural Center, and National Museum of Mexican Art in Illinois. In 2015, Duran participated in the Re: Imagine 24 Hour Overnight Design Competition, and was awarded by the Art institute of Chicago.
